Ingredients
1 pound raw ground turkey 1 medium egg 2 tsp crushed garlic 1/2 cup parsley
In large fry pan on stove top, boil 1-1/2 inches of water. Break egg up with a fork in a mixing bowl. Add turkey, garlic and parsley. You can also mix in green onions, red onions, chopped mushrooms, and your choice of spices. Mix well with hands. Make tsp size meat balls. Gently drop meatballs into boiling water and boil for 5 minutes. Discard water. You can place meatballs into your favorite sauce or soup broth or let cool and freeze in baggies. Makes approximately 30 meatballs.
Turkey meat is a great lean kind of protein, but this method makes it even better. As you boil the meat, you can see the fat cook out and it just all ends up in the water.
